Join us for a huge planting day with staff from Melbourne Water

We received a Bupa Landcare Australia grant for our newest restoration project at Proximity Drive - a lesser travelled section of Kororoit Creek surrounded by industrial estates, now opening up as a wild, wonderful space for nature and the community alike.

Thanks to their generosity, we’ll be planting thousands of Indigenous understory plants - grasses, groundcovers, wildflowers and more - adding a vital ecological layer to a site that has been a true passion project for Gerard from Melbourne Water and now together we’re building on that momentum.

Join us for a great day's planting! There will be a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. Lunch and coffee cart provided. (bring your keep cups!)

Entry to the creek at 181 Proximity Drive, Sunshine West.

Please bring your own gloves and water bottles. Wear sturdy shoes and long sleeve pants and shirts. See you there
